Drunk Driving

With a drink in my hand
I am driving through your hostile land
Lapsed insurance, expired registration
Missing license plate and broken tail light,
I am speeding down your roads and highways
Running every stop sign, every light,
Not yielding to vehicles or pedestrians alike.
Hoping to see your lights
Hear your loud sirens
To flag me down pull me over,
Give me a good talking to,
Test to see if I am sober
Detain me and take me into custody
Keep me in your dungeon locked up
Until the love I feel for you is finally over.
